No, it's not! Looking through the code, I see it's a side-effect of the naive way searching was coded into UseModWiki - a backlinks search is a simple case-insensitive search through the entire textual content of the wiki. I've duplicated the search subroutine in question and made it case-sensitive, and now this is what'll be called when you do a backlinks search, which should eliminate the false hits:

Assuming [[Water]] was the page name, I'm guessing the backlink problem would come back based on your explanation about case-sensitivity?
Yeah, at the moment I'm sticking to WikiWord format, and your guess is exactly right. If people really want free links I can consider switching them on, but I'd prefer not to for the time being. -- Earle
I wondered if anyone would object, and since you have I've put it back! But there's now a second stylesheet, wiki2.css, which is only different in that it sets Georgia as the body font. If anyone wants that, they can set it in their preferences.
About the "@"s - you will have noticed that it's now changed to the "section" symbol, which has a sort of literary connotation to it which I quite like. I decided that "@" is probably not the best symbol to use as I find myself mentally reading it aloud. Cheers -- Earle
Thanks for the font. Now the text doesn't fade in and out before my eyes. Besides, Trebuchet has the same uniform thickness and roundness as the buckyball-thingie logo. Makes for a nice unified style. -- Eliz
