Wiki Spam

WikiSpam is back on TheAdjunct. It is necessary to keep an eye on it every day. I cannot say where it is coming from because all the origins are set to localhost. There seem to be two types of information, but not (yet) a heavy attack. The latest one was more sophisticated, as it was edited twice. -- JohnFletcher

Now there is a heavier attack on PeopleProjectsAndPatterns. Overnight this has become a sustained attack (over 100 edits now).

Yes, but the fix is not working either! I just tried to edit LiberalMind and got the same problem you did on FarLeft. A big NO, you look like spam! hits me when I try to save my inputs. -- BrucePennington

I suspect that spam fix was set up to fix a different problem. It certainly isn't stopping the present problem. All that I can do is keep on deleting the rubbish. I kept this up for about two weeks. Now the problem has gone away for three whole days. -- JohnFletcher
